Level I (OEP or ADEP)
This program is chosen for first-time offenders, unless BAC or the person's drinking history prove a need for a higher program.
OEP: 10-hour education course for offenders over the age of 20 which is the most widely recommended course and indicates that the person taking this class is a low risk for a repeat offense.
ADEP: A 10-hour Adolescent Diversion Education Program for person’s 20 and under that have a first alcohol or drug related offense.
Level II
This level consists of a Weekend Intervention Program (WIP), which is the minimum required for a second offense. The WIP is 25 hours of intensive education and counseling, over a weekend.
Cost: Determined by income with a minimum of $250, plus the price of a workbook at $6.70.
Level III
Level 3 is the Clinical Intervention Program (CIP). The CIP consists of 50 hours of counseling and education over at least 5 weeks. This program was designed for individuals who are experiencing problems that may indicate the individual is at high risk.
Cost: Cost is determined by income with a $250 minimum.
Level IV
Level 4 is the Serious and Repeat Offenders Program, which consists of at least 75 hours of treatment. This program is for serious offenders or those with multiple repeated offenses.
Cost: The fee varies.
